Laundry hangin in all kinds of strange places in my little apartment these last few weeks! New bug seeking shelter in here every day. Nuff rain!
Not that nothin a gwaan fi mi, but I’m a likkle tired tonight, so will make due with a mostly picture post.

This is Ms. Doorman ("Ms. G"), one of the ladies in Nature's Handmade Paper. This is at the Knutsford Hall Hotel in Kingston, where we were invited to an awards ceremony given by the Jamaican Environment Trust. Didn't win anything, but got a lot of exposure through the display!

Some of their lovely paper products. It's all made from either recycled paper, or plant fibres. They use a lot of banana, coconut, almond leaf, and other tree fibres. Really a cool process.

- Jerry’s jerk chicken!

- Some of the crew that gathered for our Portland 4th of July (held on the 3rd to accommodate Jerk Fest!). We even had the traditional potato salad! All that was missing was fireworks.
- Alright, bedtime for me. Tomorrow we leave for Kingston at 5am in our rickety old truck which will carry the 60+ bags of glass that have accumulated at the recycling center. Hopefully I’ll get to check out the big recycling center in Kingston while we’re there!
- g’night
